Other Urgent Matters:
BURST PIPE: Water damage can be quite stressful, but don't worry, we're here to help. If you experience a burst pipe causing a significant flow of water that's damaging the property, the first thing you should do is locate the stop tap. During your check-in, we would have shown you where it is. Turn off the water supply at the stop tap immediately. Next, please contact our office during working hours, and we will swiftly dispatch a contractor to address the issue. If you can't find or turn off the stop tap, don't panic. Reach out to our emergency number, 07513423226, and we'll guide you through the situation.
LOSS OF ELECTRICAL POWER: A sudden loss of electrical power can be frustrating, but let's tackle it together. Firstly, check if there is a general power cut affecting other properties in your neighbourhood. If that's the case, please report the matter online at http://nationalgrid.co.uk/ or contact the helpline at 0800 6783 105. They can provide you with more information and updates. If the power loss is specific to your property only, let's troubleshoot it. Take a look at your electrical consumer unit or fuse box. If the main switch is off, there's likely a circuit switch turned off as well. Flip both switches back to the "on" position. If the system trips again, leave the circuit switch off but turn the mains back on. In this case, please call our office during working hours, and we'll provide you with further advice and assistance.
